56-year-old Bryan Tirok was airlifted to Upstate Medical in Syracuse for a head injury after he was unconscious on scene Saturday night.

New York State Police say their investigation indicates that the ATV overturned and landed on Tirok after he struck an embankment.

Fox 40 contacted Upstate Medical and are waiting to hear about his condition.

Just after 7:30 tonight, Nov. 30, Fox 40 heard reports of an ATV rollover crash. One man sustained serious injuries and was in and out of consciousness at 705 Page Brook Road in Whitney Point after the accident.

A helicopter airlifted the man to Upstate Medical in Syracuse around 8:45pm.

Authorities found the man under the ATV. State Police and Triangle Volunteer Fire Co. are responding to the scene. Fire officials told Fox 40 he appeared to be in his 50s.

The victim’s dad said his son was going to get the mail on the ATV when it flipped over. The son was the only person injured.
