L'Amoreaux to Pitch for BearcatsPosted: Updated:
Spartans senior Allison L'Amoreaux has committed to play softball at Binghamton University. L'Amoreaux has been elite on the diamond for M-E earning STAC first team honors each season since she was a freshman. She was also named 5th team All State in 2018 and 1st team All-State in 2019. She has been a leader on the team serving as captain last season. L'Amoreaux also plays soccer and basketball for the Spartans. Maybe the most impressive athletic feat is that she was apart of Maine Endwell's 2018 State Championship field hockey team and then this year switched to soccer so she could play with her sister Kaety. That love for her family was a big factor in her choice to stay home and become a Bearcat.
"Just close to home, originally I didn't think that's what I wanted," says L'Amoreaux. "But after stepping on campus I knew that's where I wanted to be. And then all my friends and family they can still come watch just like they always have been."
Allie will be majoring in Biology at Binghamton. She says she hopes to become a physical therapist or physician's assistant.
