Four local non-profits receive $10,000 each from the profits raised at the annual Jim "Mudcat" Grant Celebrity Golf Tournament, that took place this past summer on August 29th.

The Boys and Girls Club of Binghamton, Broome County Urban League, CHOW, and Catholic Charities of Broome County were the four main recipients from this years tournament.

Along with this, Binghamton Mayor Rich David's "Homeless Veterans Housing Project", also received a check from the proceeds with a total of around $7,200, which is $700 dollars more than their $6,500 goal set before the tournament.

Security Mutual Life has been the lead sponsor of the tournament since its start 18 years ago.
