2019 High School Football Training Camp: Johnson CityPosted: Updated:
Across the southern tier, high school football and other fall sports are back in action, and they could not come at a better time. Overall, sports during the summertime consists of baseball with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, and the Dicks Sporting Goods Open. When we finally reach this pivotal moment during the summer when fall sports are just starting to pick up, it brings out a feeling of relief that we are entering a season of both cooler temperatures and, more importantly, more sports!
Kicking off our season of High School Football training camps, today we visited the Johnson City Wildcats, and their new head coach Todd Place. After coming off of a rough 2018 season, Place is confident in his team this year that they will be more successful and they will keep their heads high in order to bring in more wins this season. However, in order to be successful, they are also thinking very realistically that in order to get to where they want to be, it is going to take time and a lot of effort to get the Wildcats back on the map.
