VESTAL, NY -

The State Superfund Program has been monitoring the area of the old Hidden Valley Electronics for quite a while and it recently got a reclassification.

The site has been changed to a class 4 from a class 2, meaning it no longer poses a significant threat to the public health.
The site is around the former Hidden Valley Electronics building.

An environmental easement has still been put on the are that limits use and development of the area, and includes the parking lots and the alley behind the building.

For more information on the site and other Superfund Projects in the area you can search them at the following website.
