Ponies Fall Early, Can't Get Redeem Themselves In 10-5 Loss

 Binghamton, N.Y. - The SeaWolves batted around the order in the top of the third. Frank Schwindel delivered a two-run grounds rule double to left. He finished the game with three hits and three RBI. In the fourth, he had an RBI ground out, and Cody Eaves knocked in a run with a single. Eaves tallied two RBI and a pair of hits.

The Rumble Ponies got on the scoreboard first with a Patrick Mazeika RBI single in the first. The Ponies got their second run of the night on an Ali Sanchez RBI double in the fifth. Sanchez finished 3-4 to extend his hitting streak to 15 games.

Tommy Wilson (1-4) started for the Rumble Ponies and suffered the loss as he allowed eight runs on 11 hits over 3.2 innings. Erie’s Tim Adelman (1-0) went seven innings in which he gave up two runs on seven hits and struck out seven for the win.
