Deposit, N.Y. - If you know anything about Deposit softball then you know who pitcher Makenzie Stiles is.
Shy and kind outside of the circle, but a killer in the circle. Over five varsity seasons, Makenzie put up overwhelming numbers, to say the least. Stiles finished her high school career 106-11 with 26 no-hitters, 70 shutouts and a state-record of 16 perfect games. You think I'm done? Not even close. She also led the Lumberjacks to four state titles and five appearances in state titles.
Stiles was named 2019 NYS Gatorade player of the year.
Makenzie leaves her high school career as one of the best high school pitchers in New York state history.
The question of course, what did these batters go through the last five years? Fox 40's Sports Director Kiley Farrell takes you there.
