Dozens of local protestors and activists took to the Vestal Parkway on Saturday to demand the impeachment of President of the United States Donald Trump.

Saturday's Vestal rally was one of the hundreds going on throughout the country as part of National Day of Action.

Fox 40 spoke with two members of Binghamton's Indivisible organization.

Kathy Utter of Indivisible said, after the release of the Mueller Report, President Trump is quote, "VIOLATING THE LAW AND DENIGRATING THE RULE OF LAW IN THIS COUNTRY AND THAT IT SHOULD NOT GO UNNOTICED OR UNPUNISHED".

Utter says, " We can't have someone that's trying to shut down an investigation of himself. Another issue near and dear to my heart is Russia, how can we sit by and watch a foreign, particularly an adversarial foreign Country try and interfere with what should be our free elections".

Protestors waved flags on a sidewalk on the Vestal Parkway that said: "Impeach Trump, Make America Great Again".

Other protestors dressed up in jail stripes wearing a Donald Trump mask.

The man behind the mask says he does not respect the President saying "As a Vietnam Veteran I can't stand behind a president that dodged the draft or stand for the things Trump has said about the late John McCain".

Local residents driving the parkway had mixed feelings about the protest as some honked their horns in support of the cause, and others shouting out their windows in support of the president.
