Super Cooper Surprises Chenango Forks Kindergarten Class

Posted: Updated:

Mrs. Saroka's kindergarten class at Chenango Forks Elementary received a random act of kindness today in honor of Cooper Busch. Their Angel Day presents included bubbles and popcorn, two of Cooper's favorite things.

The Busch family created Angel Day as a way to commemorate their son Cooper one year after he lost his battle to leukemia. It is a part of Super Cooper Saves the Day, the family's organization to give back to the community.

"I think it was a wonderful tribute to him, as he would have been starting kindergarten this year," said Anne Saroka. "We will always be connected to Cooper now."

The class also has the opportunity to give back to another classroom, as they also received a $20 gift card intended to pay it forward.
