Maine-Endwell's Molly Olzinski Inks LOIPosted: Updated:
Endwell, N.Y. - Maine-Endwell senior Molly Olzinski will continue her swimming career at the University of Maine (Division 1) after signing her letter of intent on Tuesday.
"I fell in love with the atmosphere" said Molly. "When I visited I fell in love with the team and the coaches. They were so supportive and immediately made me feel like part of the family."
The Section IV Class B champion and four-time NYS qualifier holds three school records, the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 100 breaststroke. Olzinski is a 3x Section IV Class B champion in the 100 breaststroke and a Section IV champion in the 200 medley relay (2017) and 200 free relay (2018).
"The value of hard work really came through to me here at Maine-Endwell" said Olzinski. The extra hard work really does pay off because if there's something you need to improve upon, just spending extra time on it really makes a difference."
She's also the pool record holder in the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.
Molly will attend the University of Maine in the Fall of 2019 and plans to major in Biomedical Engineering.
