Innovation Shines At 10th Annual Southern Tier Student Robotics Competition

Future engineers filled the SUNY Broome Applied Technologies building Wednesday to show off their skills at the 10th annual  Southern Tier Robotics Competition.

Over 150 middle and high school students from around the region competed in six main events:  the Large Swept Away Challenge, the Small Swept Away Challenge, the Autonomous Task Challenge, the Autonomous Line-Following Challenge, the Forklift Challenge and the Maze Programming Challenge.

Students also put their team-made robots to the test. 

Eastern Southern Tier STEM Hub and SUNY Broome sponsored the event.
