10 Arrested in Endicott Meth Bust

ENDICOTT, N.Y. -

Police arrested 10 people following a multi-agency investigation into the sale of crystal methamphetamine in the Village of Endicott.

New York State Police said on March 5, 2019, investigators from multiple law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at an Arthur Avenue residence, according to a news release.

Eight of the 10 suspects were inside the home. Matthew Wood and McKenna Westgate were arrested in a vehicle stop nearby. Police say before the bust, surveillance observed the vehicle leaving the residence.

Troopers say as they were approaching the vehicle, Wood tried to get rid of the meth. Police recovered 3.5 ounces of meth, suboxone,  scales and packaging materials.

They say the search of the residence turned up one-ounce of crystal meth, Suboxone, controlled substance medications, a 38-caliber handgun, an illegal knife, as well as supplies to weigh and package drugs. 

Wood, Westgate, Paul Panella and Elizabeth Bickham were taken to Broome County Jail without bail.  Anthony Kormos was released on an appearance ticket and returned to the Village of JC police.

*Bickham was also wanted on two separate warrants.
