Owego Ends Season, Falling to Lowville in State Quarterfinals
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -
The Owego Indians lost to the Lowville Red Raiders 68-51 in the Class B quarterfinal game on Saturday.
Kobe Bogart scored 28 for Owego, 18 from the two quarters. Roughly half of his points came from beyond the arc, shooting 5-6 three pointers. The Indians ended the first half within four of the Red Raiders. Things went downhill for the Indians after Christian Sage injured his ankle in the beginning of the third quarter, and did not return.
"Wins are relief, they're not joy," said head coach Chris Evans. "The joy is in practice, in getting better."
