Binghamton, N.Y. - The Binghamton Devils signed forward Sam Kurker to a professional tryout contract on Wednesday.
The twenty-four year old has 27 points (14 goals, 13 assists) in 32 games with the ECHL's Manchester Monarchs this season. Kurker played in 15 American Hockey League games this season with the Ontario Reign and tallied two goals and two assists.
Overall, the 6-foot-2, 2013-pound forward has played in 47 regular-season AHL games with Albany, Cleveland, Springfield, and Ontario.
The Boston, MA native helped the United States Hockey League's Sioux City Musketeers capture a Clark Cup in 2013-14 and won a Hockey East title with Northeastern University.
The Binghamton Devils are back home Friday and Saturday.
