Translation Software Company Awarded Grant For Web App Security AuditPosted:
The funds will go toward a third-party security audit and assessment of the web-based translation application that weaves machine learning into its translation software while offering a host of security features to protect sensitive user data.
"At Pairaphrase, we're thrilled to receive this grant. It will provide additional assurance to companies in highly regulated sectors who want to use Pairaphrase to produce secure translations efficiently, but who require a third-party security audit of web apps prior to adoption," says Pairaphrase CEO, Laurent Bresson.
Pairaphrase has been part of an extensive selection process that considers Michigan-based companies whose research and development brings forth an innovative product or process and serves as a foundation for a high rate of growth.
The Business Accelerator Fund (BAF) is available through tech accelerators in Michigan's statewide SmartZone network, who work closely with applying companies. Funds are used toward the delivery of specialized services to assist advanced technology companies. The BAF is funded by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and administered by the Michigan Small Business Development Center. TechTown, Detroit's most established business incubator and accelerator, and a state-designated SmartZone, assisted Pairaphrase in securing these funds.
Pairaphrase puts advanced translation technologies into the hands of everyday business users to reduce the time and costs associated with the production of secure, high-quality translations.
