Most high school basketball players do not come close to knocking down 1000 points in their career. Johnson City junior Xavier Hill reached that milestone in three. One of his three point shots against Vestal on Friday night brought him to 1002 points, and 100 three point field goals.
Hill began his varsity basketball career as a freshman, starting in every game. Raised by his grandparents Heather and Gerry Foley, Hill competed extensively in the AAU circuit, most recently for City Rocks in Albany.
