The Binghamton Devils came back in the third period and defeated the visiting Hartford Wolf Pack 3-2 in overtime.
The first period ended in a 1-1 tie, with Hartford only able to score one in the second. Pietila scored his second of the night to tie the game, and Quenneville sealed the deal in overtime on a power-play goal. Blackwood won his seventh game of the year with 22 saves and Mazanec left with the loss, stopping 32.
The Devils return home Saturday night against Wilkes/Barre-Scranton at 7:05 p.m.
