Binghamton Man Convicted of Burglary

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -

A Broome County Jury Wednesday found Manani S. Oliveras guilty of all four counts, in the
indictment against him, for June 16, and June 22 burglary arrests, in the Town of Dickinson and Village of Endicott.

140.25 Burglary, in the second degree, a Class C Felony;
140.20 Burglary, in the third degree, a Class D Felony;
140.35 Possession of Burglar’s Tools, a Class A Misdemeanor (two counts).


At trial, prosecutors proved Oliveras knowingly entered residences in Dickinson and Endicott, with intent to commit a
crime, and illegally possessed instruments designed to facilitate forcible entry.


Oliveras was arrested June 22, 2018, by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, and indicted by a Grand Jury September 5,
2018.


Sentencing is scheduled for March 20, 2019.
