Binghamton dominated in the second half in their 60-47 win over Army in a non-conference women's basketball game on Sunday afternoon. The game marked the third contest in the Bearcats' season-long, four-game home series. Olivia Ramil and Rebecca Carmody each recorded a double-double, Ramil's career first and Carmody's season first and career fifth. Carly Boland also put up double digits, with 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.
"This was a really great win against a tough team," head coach Bethann Shapiro Ord said. "I am proud of our girls because they came back from Wednesday's game and competed very well."
Down 24-22 at the half, Binghamton outscored Army 21-7 in the third period to go up 43-31. Boland led a balanced attack with a pair of three-point field goals during that stretch.
Binghamton pulled down a season-high 49 rebounds against the Black Knights. It also held a 34-18 advantage in points in the paint.
The Bearcats wraps up their home series against Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday at 7 p.m.
