Binghamton Police To Kick Off Toys for Tots DrivePosted: Updated:
Broome County Toys for Tots is an organization that has been operated by Broome County Police agencies and volunteers since 1962, with its primary goal being to assist families in providing their children with gifts for the holidays. All toys and money raised by our organization stay in Broome County.
This year, the organization is once again being led by Officer Theresa Johnson of the Binghamton Police Department.
Broome County Toys for Tots will start on Monday November 26th. We will be headquartered across from Ruby Tuesday in the Oakdale Mall; 601 Harry L. Drive in Johnson City. Sign-ups for Broome County Toys for Tots will start on Monday November 26th and will end Saturday December 8th.
The Broome County Toys for Tots headquarters is open Monday - Friday from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm and Saturdays from 9am-12pm. Donations can be dropped off during the hours of operation until Monday December 17th.
Drop off barrels are located at the Binghamton Police Department, Broome County Sheriff’s Office, Endicott Police Department, Johnson City Police Department, and the Vestal Police Department.
In order to sign up for Broome County Toys for Tots, you must provide the following documents and meet the following criteria:
1) Must be a Broome County Resident and provide documentation to prove address
2) Must provide Birth Certificates for all children
3) If you are not the parent, you must provide family court custody documents
4) Must show Photo identification
5) Children must be between the ages of 1-10 years (No infants)
