A manufacturing seminar was held in Binghamton to help encourage innovation in the Southern Tier. The free training program was led by Fuzehub, a nonprofit organization that travels the country educating innovators on how to get their products to market.
FuzeHub advisor Dan Radomski says the idea is to close the gap between creators and manufacturers to boost the tech industry.
"You're seeing a wide variety of new products being developed, so we're trying to take advantage of that and try to create more of those businesses here in New York... manufacturing here in New York," says Radomski.
This program is new for FuzeHub, who say their offering two more in New York before moving on to another state.
