Binghamton, N.Y. - Johnson City boys soccer hosted Maine-Endwell today at Wildcat Stadium. The Wildcats entered today's game 1-5 while the Spartans came in at 3-1. Spartans Junior, Jack Coleman has scored eight of the Spartans fifteen goals, in just four games. Today's battle was a great effort on both sides of the field, unfortunately, for Johnson City they weren't able to finish their opportunities and Maine-Endwell was.
Coleman's two goals allowed the Spartans to collect the 2-0 victory over the Wildcats and improve to 4-1 on the season.
The Chenango Valley Warriors hosted Chenango Forks for their very first game under the lights on their home field. The Class B rivalry game was an important one regarding Playoff chances, especially for the Warriors as they've struggled in the past. However, the future is bright for the Warriors as they increase their record to 4-2 on the season after tonight's win.
Adrian Marroquin scored in the second half to lead Chenango Valley to their fourth win of the season.
