NJ Devils Release Prospects Challenge Roster

Binghamton, N.Y. - We're only days away from the NHL officially opening training camp for the 2018-19 season. But, before the NHL gets underway, NHL prospects need to show why they deserve to be playing with the best hockey players in the world. Earlier today, the New Jersey Devils announced the 26-man roster for the 2018 Prospects Challenge.

The Devils will send 26 prospects to Buffalo, where the team will play games against prospects from the Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins, from Friday September 7 through Monday, September 10 at HarborCenter in Buffalo NY. 

The roster highlights three first-round picks in centers Michael McLeod, John Quenneville and defense man Ty Smith.
