BINGHAMTON, NY -

The Broome County Dog Shelter has eleven dogs up for adoption.

A litter of six Tibetan terrier mix puppies are ready to go off to a new home next week, July 20th.

The second litter of five German Shepherd mix puppies will be looking for a new home the first week of August. Their mom is also up for adoption.

The pups socialized Thursday during Paws on the Plaza and made many new friends.

“If you’re thinking of a young one, a young puppy, think about if you’re home a lot for a puppy, and if you don’t have that much time, maybe think about something maybe past the puppy stage. Maybe past a year or two, come take a look at the shelter because we have all sizes, all shapes, all breeds.” - Kelly Conlin, Dog Shelter Manager

The Shelter said they have many adult dogs available to adopt as well.

To apply for adoption, visit the Shelter on Friday, July 13th and Saturday, July 14th.

The Shelter is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
