Binghamton Man Arrested For Drug and Firearm Possession

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force arrested a Binghamton man in possession of crack cocaine and a firearm Tuesday. 

Marquis Morgan, 27, was arrested after a narcotics search warrant was executed for 151 Oak Street. Officers found a revolver, 5.2 grams of Crack Cocaine and drug packaging materials. 

Morgan was charged with:
- two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree, a class D felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, a class C felony
- two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, a class A Misdemeanor

Morgan was arraigned Wednesday in Binghamton City Court and taken to Broome County Jail.
