Trooper Nicholas Clark Laid To Rest

Hundreds gathered at Alfred University Sunday to remember slain New York State Trooper Nicholas Clark who was killed in the line of duty on Monday. 

His funeral services took place in the James A. McLane Physical Education Center. 

During Trooper Clark's funeral, a 21 gun salute was performed as well as a helicopter fly over. 

Trooper Clark, 29, from Troupsburg, Steuben County, was shot and killed last week after responding to a report of a suicidal man in the Town of Erwin. 

According to investigators, Steven M. Kiley, 43, shot and killed himself after firing at Trooper Clark. 

Kiley was a principal in the Bradford Central School District.
