56th Annual July Fest is a Success

Posted: Updated:

July Fest wrapped its final day of its 56th annual festival on Sunday afternoon.

With over 40 vendors, 35 artists, 25 musicians, countless guests, and three perfect days, event organizers are considering the 2018 July Fest as one of the best.

Ron Sall, local business owner and July Fest organizer, said that the vendors reported great sales but he had a message directly to the community.

“We have such a wonderful community. We hope you came down and enjoyed it and you come and enjoy it next year. Go onto our website at JulyfestBinghamton.com. You can contact me anytime with any suggestions or ideas. We’d love to hear from you” said Sall.

Businesses on Court St and Washington St reported similar numbers. Dos Rios Cantina, a new Mexican restaurant located next to the Colonial, said that business was so good that they had a wait time over two hours long.

The 57th annual July Fest will return to Binghamton next year and is currently being planned around the July 4th holiday.
