BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -

The man indicted in the Easter shooting that killed Erika Smith-Cunningham has pleaded guilty to manslaughter, according to the Broome County District Attorney's Office.

Corey Robinson will serve 15 years in prison and is due to be sentenced in Broome County Court on September 10, 2018.

Investigators say Smith-Cunningham attended a house party at 92 Crocker Ave. where Robinson would later get into a fight. They say he returned and fired shots through the first-floor window.

The 29-year-old fled to Marietta, Georgia, where he was arrested five days after the shooting and extradited back to Broome County.
