It's All About The Individual Success In The MinorsPosted: Updated:
Binghamton, N.Y. - Minor league baseball is filled with talented prospects who are looking to go professional. Some players dreams are accomplished before others, while others are never fully accomplished. However, when we look at teams in sports, we think the success is formed from the team as a collective whole. Minor league baseball on the other hand, is of course all about the individuals success, because they're simply there to make it to the highest level of baseball.
The Rumble Ponies coaching staff have sent nine Rumble Ponies to promotions so far this season, whether it be to play in Las Vegas at the Triple-A level or to Citi Field as a New York Met.
"Every one who works in the New York Mets organization knows that what we want the most is for the New York Mets to win games, so we need to prepare the players the best that we can to be having them move level to level" said Rumble Ponies manager Luis Rojas.
"Even when Alonso and McNeil got the call up, regardless of how much their contributing for us to get wins, it's mission accomplished."
Tomas Nido, Tyler Bashlor and Gueron Bautista have all been promoted from Binghamton to Citi Field. Doing something that most people dream to do.
"It's a dream for them and it's exciting, I've had several friends called up recently and it's exciting because you're happy for them and for a lot of people it's a dream come true" said Tim Tebow.
Maybe, just maybe that dream will come true soon for Tim Tebow.
