Sonostics and New York Skin and Vein Center announce Partnership

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -

Sonostics Inc., makers of the HeartPartner which raises and energizes the calf muscles to improve circulation, have announced an exclusive partnership with New York Skin and Vein Center (NYSVC) in Binghamton.

Recognizing the potential for reducing swelling and pain in his patient's legs, varicose vein specialist Dr. Eric Dohner will become the exclusive distributor of the HeartPartner in the five counties where Dr. Dohner practices, including the NYSVC.

According to Dr. Dohner, many of his elderly patients' legs show signs of edema (build up of fluids) and begin to exhibit fatigue, balance problems, and less motion. This inactivity can create varicose veins, but with the HeartPartner his offices have seen a dramatic decrease in signs of circulatory problems.

"I have a demonstration model in every one of my waiting rooms for patients to try. People are loving it," said Dr. Dohner.

Studied by the Care Compass Network, doctors have seen nearly all elderly patients who used the HeartPartner improved their balance drastically. And according to AgingCare.com, falls are the leading cause of death in seniors.

Sonostics Inc. will be opening their third office in Westchester County this July, 2018. And intends to begin production of the HeartPartner device in Central New York over the next three years, and could create roughly 135 local manufacturing jobs.
