Recent graduate Keishorea Armstrong was named the 2017-18 Binghamton University Female Athlete of the Year. This is the second time in her record breaking career that she earned the honor.
Throughout this season, Armstrong qualified for the NCAA Championships twice and was 13th in the long jump at the indoor meet back in March, where she earned second-team All America honors. At her most recent outdoor meet, she was 21st overall and was named an honorable mention All-American.
According to Binghamton University, Armstrong graduates from Binghamton as the most accomplished female athlete during its 17-year NCAA Division I era. In addition to being a three-time All-American, she was a nine-time America East individual champion and has been the top overall point scorer at a conference championship meet four times.
