Broome County Jury Monday found Ryan J. Gaylord guilty of Predatory Sexual Assault
Against a Child, a Class A-II Felony, for engaging in sexual contact with a female victim, less than 13 years old, from
January 2017, through on or about July 13, 2017.
Gaylord was arrested by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office July 28th, 2017, and indicted by a Grand Jury November 13th,
“Child sex trials are the most difficult cases on victims and their families; we thank the victim for having the courage to
come forward,” said District Attorney Steve Cornwell. “Today, Broome County is safer, with the defendant removed from
society, and soon on his way to state prison.”
Gaylord faces 15 years to life, in prison, when he is sentenced on August 14th, 2018.
