Opa! What To Expect At The 45th Annual Greek Festival

VESTAL, N.Y. -

Hundreds kicked off their weekend at the 45th Annual Grecian Festival Friday at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Vestal.

The festival kicked off Thursday and will run through the weekend.

Locals can enjoy a number of traditional Greek food and pastries. The festival also has Greek music and dancing performances from Hellenic dancers of all ages.

“It’s really a family affair with the whole church, and we’re sharing our culture and our heritage," said Chris Geertgens, the supervisor to the festival's pastry booth.

New to the festival this year is an additional parking lot in the back of the church.

A shuttle bus from NYSEG parking lot will also be available to transport people to the festival.

Shuttle Bus Times:
Friday - 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday - 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Sunday - 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
