Pitching Duel Powers Ponies To Victory

Posted: Updated:

It was a pitching duel tonight at UPMV Park as the Rumble Ponies traveled to Erie, Pennsylvania for their first game of the three game series against the SeaWolves. Starting pitcher Nabil Crismatt threw 7- 1/3 innings of one-run baseball, as he tossed five struck outs and let up only three hits. Relievers Daniel Zamora and Joshua Torres reciprocated Crismatt as they both combined to strand the potential tying run on third in each of the final two innings in Binghamton’s fifth win in six games.

The Ponies runs were collected in the first inning from Kevin Taylor's 2 run double and those were enough for the win.

The Ponies defeated the SeaWolves 2-1 and will be back on the diamond to do it all over again, tomorrow at 6:05 p.m.
