The Binghamton Rumble Ponies lost their fourth game in a row tonight at Hadlock Field. In their first road game of the season, the Portland Sea Dogs defeated the Rumble Ponies 4-2.
Just like the last four games, the Rumble Ponies played from behind. Starting pitcher Andrew Church gave up four runs on seven hits over the course of four innings, one of those runs being a lead off homer from Cole Sturgeon.
1st baseman Peter Alonso hit his third home run of the season, but unfortunately the Ponies were unable to come back from the early deficit.
Tim Tebow went 1-for-4 where he grounded into a double play and had two strikeouts, one in which ended the game. Tebow is now 4-for-22 on the season.
The Rumble Ponies look to redeem themselves tomorrow in Portland at 1:00 p.m.
