The Southern Tier Athletic Conference (STAC) was in full force today and with the beautiful spring weather, it sure felt like baseball season. Today started with Oneonta defeating Chenango Valley in extra innings and ending with Vestal Head Coach Tank Anderson receiving his 400th career win.

  • Johnson City - 9 def. Owego - 4 Final
  • Horseheads - 14 def. Union-Endicott - 2 Final
  • Elmira - 2  def.  Binghamton - 1  Final
  • Seton - 9 def. Chenango Forks - 0 Final
  • Corning - 4  def. Ithaca- 2 Final

Vestal Head Coach Tank Anderson won his 400th win as Golden Bears head coach.

After the game Coach Anderson stated, "I don't think to much of my personal stuff but it's been on my mind the last couple of days, simply because my son and everyone has been talking about it, so I guess it just means that I've been here for a while and have had some really good ball players, so I'm going to go and get 500, it's not an ending point for me."

Vestal Starting pitcher Kyle Taborne struck out 11 in 6 shutout innings.

SCC Pitcher Leo Gallagher threw a no hitter in their win over Chenango Forks.

Horseheads improved their record to 3-0 after crushing rival Union-Endicott 14-2.
