A jury has been selected for the trial of Jabari Ashe, accused of shooting and killing a Binghamton man in April 2017. Police say when they arrived on scene at 10 Fayette Street, they found Tyquan Gumbs dead with multiple bullet wounds.
Ashe, 21, was arrested by NYPD in Brooklyn and brought back to Binghamton where he was charged with 2nd degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. In November, Ashe rejected a plea deal and chose to go to trial.
4 more jurors are chosen... overheard court officers saying this was a small jury pool for a murder trial. Only 66 where summoned as opposed to the usual 100.
