An Endicott man with "extensive criminal history" will spend the next decade in prison according to prosecutors.

Santonio Jones, 41, was sentenced Wednesday in Broome County Court to ten years in prison and five years parole for Robbery in the second degree, a Class C felony.

Jones was found guilty at trial in November for robbing two Village of Endicott employees in May. Police say he displayed what appeared to be a handgun.

Jones has an extensive history of crimes including armed robbery, drug possession, assault, grand larceny, forgery, aggravated DWI, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle according to investigators.

“This is the case of a career criminal, with numerous convictions in other counties, and other states,” said District
Attorney Steve Cornwell. “When he committed a robbery in Broome County, he was arrested, prosecuted, and will
spend the next decade in prison.”
