Binghamton Students Receive Advice from 'Pippin' Cast Members

Posted: Updated:
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -

Two cast members touring with the Broadway show "Pippin" shared advice with some Binghamton High School students looking to make it in the industry.

On Wednesday, Imani Williams, a 2015 Binghamton University graduate, and Ithaca native Housso Semon spoke with students in the high school's Rod Serling School of Arts.

Among their discussion, the cast members shared their keys to success.

"The only way you can fail in this industry is to not show up," said Williams.  "So if you just keep going for it and do what you have to do, and believe in yourself, and surround yourself with people who believe in you -- then you'll be on the right track."

Williams and Semon also answered students' questions including how they're able to maintain quality relationships with loved ones while touring.
