Two charged in Binghamton drug bustPosted: Updated:
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force concluded an investigation into the sale of cocaine in the City of Binghamton. On Thursday Investigators executed a search warrant on Oliver St in the City of Binghamton. As a result of the search warrant execution, Dwayne Battle and Danielle Shantillo, were arrested on drug charges. Investigators recovered approximately 5.75 ounces of cocaine, drug packaging and paraphernalia, Oxycodone pills, Psilocybin (illegal) Mushrooms and over $3300 in suspected drug sale proceeds.
Children ranging in ages from 2 months to 10 years old were in the residence at the time of the search warrant execution. Battle and Shantillo were both charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. NYS Child Protective Services were notified of the incident.
Battle and Shantillo will be held at the City of Binghamton Police Department until their arraignment.
