Union-Endicott Releases Lead Testing Results

By Jason Weinstein.
The Union-Endicott School District released results from it's testing of water for lead and copper.

One source each at the High School, Linneaus W. West, and Charles F. Johnson Elementary tested above the action level for lead. But once the sources were flushed the tests came back below the action level.

All sources at the other schools tested below the required action level. One water fountain at the district office was removed after testing. After testing a faucet at the bus garage has now been labeled as not intended for human consumption.
