Tri Cities Opera Announces 2016-17 Season

The Tri-Cities Opera is ready to unveil it's newly renovated Black Box Theater on Clinton Street in Binghamton for this coming show season.

Today the company released it's show plans for the 2016-17 season, including "La Traviata, Hansel and Gretel, and Hydrogen Jukebox." The opera is also hoping to raise $10,000 in donations this week after an anonymous donor pledged to match the amount if the TCO reaches that goal.

"For the community to come together, to not be by themselves at home with their remote and slippers on, but to be a part of a community and  a live event and the people backstage are as important as the people on stage, everyone converges together to present themselves.' said Susan Ashbaker, the  General Director of Tri-Cities Opera House
Tickets are currently on sale for Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, which will run at the forum theater April 29th.
