New York State Police in Watertown arrested Joseph Wilcox, 29 of Adams Center, NY on Tuesday for his involvement in an assault to a five-month old infant.
In December 2015 Troopers were called to the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown to investigate what caused physical injuries to the infant.
The investigation led Troopers to Wilcox who was charged Tuesday.
He was arraigned in the Town of Adams court and sent to the Jefferson County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.
Police are still investigating the incident and are not released specific details at this time.
