After Backlash, Binghamton School Board To Issue Survey

By Kerry Longobucco.
After recent backlash surrounding administration, the Binghamton City School District school board is launching a survey to help gauge issues surrounding the district.

The district-wide survey will be designed to give give the school board a general idea of morale, perceptions and issues within the district. Members of the community will be invited to suggest topics for the survey.

Board members say they will study the results, and use the feedback to improve culture and climate within the district.

The announcement comes just days after a board meeting, where multiple unions demanded that superintendent Marion Martinez be removed.
