Minor Injuries After Rollover Crash in Johnson City

One person suffered minor injuries in a one-car rollover in Johnson City.

The accident happened at about 1 p.m. on Thursday. Broome County Sheriff's deputies say the driver of a white sedan was speeding when taking the Airport Road exit off of Route 17 East.

He lost control of the vehicle, driving off the road and striking the cement divider and flipping the car over.

The driver was transported to Wilson Hospital for minor injuries. Deputies say he will be ticketed for speeding, and failure to wear a seatbelt.

Prospect Terrace firefighters assisted at the scene.
