Binghamton Man Arrested for Burglary and Selling Stolen Items for Drugs
By FOX 40 Staff. A Binghamton man has been arrested for felony burglary after being caught on a home surveillance system.
Justin T. Leo, 30, was arrested on Monday after admitting taking items from a Town of Chenango residence and selling them to buy drugs.
The Broome County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported burglary to a residence in the Town of Chenango that occurred on March 8, 2016.
Homeowners viewed their home surveillance video, after discovering property missing from their bedroom. They saw a male entering their home while they were out for the day on March 8th.
The male took various items from the residence. An investigation led authorities to a neighbor’s relative, Justin Leo. Leo was arrested without incident and was arraigned in the Town of Chenango Court and remanded to the Broome County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility without bail.
