An Artistic Marathon at BU's Art Museum

An amazing display of artistry Friday night at Binghamton University -- and true artistic stamina!

BU's Art Museum hosted a drawing marathon. For a 24-hour period, artists worked on their pieces to see how far they can go while withstanding exhaustion.

They had small breaks for 15-minutes at the end of every hour and 30 minute breaks every four hours. This display of devotion to the craft showed off the competitive nature of these artists.

A team of jurors awarded a $500 prize to their selected winner, a $250 prize was also awarded to someone who was deemed worthy of a "people's prize."
