Arrest After Robbery of Cab Driver

Johnson City Police make an arrest after an early-morning robbery of a cab driver.

Police say just before 2:30 this morning a Courtesy Cab driver reported that a male passenger put his arm around the driver’s neck, demanded money, and threatened to use a knife. Police say it happened on Grand Avenue in Johnson City.

Police say they found clothing and an ID belonging to the suspect while searching the area of the robbery. During the search Police arrested 33-year-old Sequan Thompson of Binghamton. He's charged with robbery in the first degree. He is in the Broome County Jail without bail.
