By Fox 40 Staff.
Executive Director for the Broome County Land Bank, Margaret Scarinizi, presented an annual report of what the corporation is doing to address blight in the county.

2015 highlights include a redevelopment project for 50 Front Street.

The project will include demolition of the current building and construction of a mixed-use commercial space and housing complex.

The Land Bank also acquired seven properties on Binghamton's north side that they were authorized to demolish, including four houses on Liberty Street and three on Munsell Street.

Future goals include revitalizing the Village of Windsor's historic downtown business district.

The Land Bank received 220 thousand dollars in funding for this project.

Funding for Land Bank projects has been from grant monies awarded by the NYS Office of the Attorney General through its Community Revitalization Initiative.
