Parade Goers Continue Celebration At Seton Catholic Central

By Faith Jessie.
Seton Catholic hosted the official Parade Day After Party on Saturday. It's a tradition that's gone on for decades.

Pipe bands marched from the parade right into the Seton Catholic gymnasium today.

Parade goers flooded the place to hear music from pipe bands like Avalon String Bonds and B.C Celtic.

In addition to the traditional music, participants were able to indulge in a selection of Irish cuisine like corned beef and salt potatoes.

The party held every year is sponsored by Binghamton's Chapter of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

"It's to honor Saint Patrick first off, and our Irish heritage next. But it's also a great day for families to come... it's a wonderful atmosphere here at the school," said organizer, Maureen Kadlecik.

The AOH says this year's after party was a success and they plans to keep the party going for many years to come.
